я знаю, что скорее всего этот отзыв так и останется в тени и его увидят максимум пару человек, которые еще помнят обо мне, но не смотря на геймплей, который может надоесть многим спустя сотню часов в игре и простоту игры, она стала значимой частью моей жизни. купив ее ключ за сто рублей на рандомном сайте ради шутки, я бы никогда и не подумала, что игруля про фарм и убийство боссов станет той игрой в которую я играю без перерыва уже более двух лет. проведя в ней почти что 7ОО часов, а на большинстве моих персах сыграно от 8Оти часов, я получала удовольствие от каждой секунды в ней. благодаря Террарии я пережила травлю, токсичные отношения и множество множество плохого происходящего со мной. возможно, ощущение преимущества над всем миром и чрезмерной силой, которое мне давала эта игра после убийства какого либо босса или получения редкого предмета и было тем, что мне так не хватало для успокоения, я не знаю. Террария была важной частью в моем общении с людьми. не знаешь как весело провести время с кем либо? хей, пошли в терочьку! и каждый раз так же весело, как в первый. с некоторыми людьми был пройден не один мир, за разные классы и на различные сложности. ужас, я так много в нее играла, что неосознанно выучила всю вики наизусть! весь геймплей Террарии как на ладони, я точно знаю свой шаг и предугадываю каждое свое действие в этой игре, и это ощущается невероятно, словно я самый умный человек на планете. словно я правда чего то да стою.
думаю, могу уверенно сказать, что Террария стала моим уголком безопасности, нет места легче и спокойнее нее. и даже, когда начинало казаться, что террария уже надоедает я все равно возвращалась в нее спустя неделю отдыха, ну или месяца максимум.

Все самые “сочные” плюсы были миллион раз описаны в других обзорах, поэтому добавить-то особо и нечего) Но я, как-никак, наиграл уже добрую тысячу часов на одном лишь только Стиме, и возможно, всего в половину меньше на пиратке, начав еще с 1.1, поэтому что-то сказать я просто-таки обязан) Ну что ж, заваривайте крепкий чефир, мажьте хлеб солидолом, усаживайтесь поудобнее на сральное ведро — это моя история!

Началось всё году в 2012. На дворе была версия 1.1, и, вдоволь наигравшись в четвёртых червей и Гаррис Мод, мой друг предложил мне поиграть в Террарию. Что это такое, я, разумеется, тогда не знал. Да и вряд ли вообще кто-то о ней тогда знал. Установил, зашёл на сервер, там стоял максимально уродливый дом. Классика. ) Друг дал световой меч, я удивился, он призвал Глаз Ктулху, мы оба были сурово наказаны, я ничего не понял, и на этом моё знакомство с игрой временно подошло к концу)

И вот однажды, сидя в ВК, я решил. просто зайти на официальный сайт Террарии) Без какой-либо мотивации, просто пришла мне эта мысль и всё. Собственно, так я и сделал. И вот только попробуйте представить себе мои эмоции, когда обнаружил, что уже на следующий день выходит новое глобальное обновление 1.2) Сказать, что я удивился — не сказать ничего) Всю ночь сидел и ждал его, а потом обнаружил, что оно выходит не утром, как мне показалось, а вечером (перепутал АМ с ПМ). Лёг спать, проснулся, дождался, скачал и начал ох***ать) Террария наконец перестала быть максимально квадратной. Появились углы, новые визуальные эффекты, Храм Джунглей, боссы, предметы. Наверное, из общей суммы наигранных часов, пятьсот пришлись именно на эту версию. Ее я “проходил” несколько раз подряд с разными людьми, в том числе и с одноклассниками. И даже тут есть своя, отдельная история)

Школу я уже сменил. В 11 классе, после выхода 1.2, стал по традиции выносить мозги одноклассникам) Естественно, их реакция была ожидаемой) Но так как один из новых одноклассников в наименьшей степени сопротивлялся всему новому, кидаясь совершенно нелогичными предрассудками и стереотипами, ознакомить его с игрой успешно удалось, хоть и с некоторыми затруднениями) Проходя игру коопом, мы пытались донести до остальных, что Террария — это интересная, захватывающая и затягивающая игра, которая если не понравится, то никаких плохих впечатлений точно не оставит. И чтобы понять это, нужно всего-навсего перестать мыслить примитивно, откинуть глупые предрассудки, установить игру и просто поиграть. И вот тогда, на основе собственного опыта, сделать выводы. Тем более, когда у игры 97% положительных обзоров, а остальные 3% написаны даунами (Серьезно, почитайте негативные обзоры. Вы будете смеяться пять минут))) Ведь если ты попробуешь, есть шанс, что игра тебе понравится и весело проведёшь в ней, возможно, целую кучу времени. А если не попробуешь — ты этого шанса лишаешься. Таким образом, удалось затащить всего лишь одного одноклассника, который, правда, жёстко тупил, но, тем не менее, вносил определённый вклад в наше прохождение) И это было о-енно)

Какого-то числа какого-то месяца вышла версия 1.3. После ее выхода, я некоторое время играть не хотел, наигравшись в 1.2, но через пару месяцев всё же вернулся. Так как эта версия актуальна, и в неё абсолютно точно играли все, кто имеет эту игру в Стиме — особо красочных историй вспомнить не могу. Помню огромное количество багов сразу после выхода, помню как переводили с друзьями на русский ченджлог. Помню как тред о Террарии висел в топе на Дваче. и заполнялся до бамплимита за считанные часы. Помню как ждал уже не глобальных обновлений, а небольших патчей, ибо багов было реально много. ) На дворе 2018. и мы всё еще играем в 1.3, и все дружно ждём, когда разработчики в очередной раз нас обрадуют)

Теперь можно и подвести заключительный итог. Лично для меня эта игра имеет огромное значение, и именно с ней у меня ассоциируется школа. Это та игра, пройдя которую, ты обязательно когда-нибудь вернёшься. Та игра, в которую заходишь утром и, только закрыв ё, понимаешь, что прошло пару десятков лет, а все, с кем ты был знаком — давно умерли от старости. И тут я достиг лимита. Что ж, спасибо всем, кто прочитал.

Хочу иметь возможность без труда собирать адекватную, опытную команду для прохождения игры. Раньше я искал людей в группах ВК, но писали в основном школьники, а посылать их на трибу мне не позволяет совесть. Поэтому я начал искать потенциальных тиммейтов по обзорам в Стиме. Возможно кто-то тоже так делает. Специально для таких людей, торжественно сообщаю: я тут!

Люблю проходить игру долго, никуда не спеша. Строю много фармилок, собираю кучу всякого г-на, забиваю им сотни сундуков и т. д. Сколько у вас наиграно часов — ключевого значения не имеет, но чем больше — тем, разумеется, лучше. С возрастом также. Ключевую роль тут, наверное, играет качество микрофона и адекватность) Если с этим всё в порядке — добро пожаловать!

The team is taking a bit of a break from the Game Jams to work on the small Terraria PC update mentioned above in the Steam Deck news. We are looking forward to diving back into our latest Jam with both feet once we have that all squared away. It is a pretty cool second concept, and we are really enjoying how it is turning out.

So, for now, we will have to just continue to ask for your patience and trust in our process as we continue our own journey towards whatever lies ahead.

The entire process has been a lot of fun and immensely helpful towards exploring ideas, building skills, and improving on how we work together. Greetings, Terrarians! August 25th was yesterday, and what a day it was. Why, you ask? Well, yesterday we officially pressed the submission buttons for Terraria: Journey’s End on PlayStation and Xbox! Now, we invite all of you to anxiously wait on Sony and Microsoft to complete their review process, after which we will be ready to turn this amazing update over to all of you!

We wish we could be more exact and give you a launch date. However, the review process is not all that predictable in terms of how long it takes, what might need to be addressed, etc. in each submission. Rest assured that when we hear something, we will let everyone know just as soon as we can.

Our partners at Skyland Arts have at long last rolled out preorders for the first wave of Terraria Collectible Figures. Three figures are included in this first set: Dryad, Shadow Armor, and Eye of Cthulhu (with removable iris, to expose its second phase). Skyland does not have its own digital storefront, so they have decided to utilize Kickstarter as their preorder method. The up-front expenses have been paid, the tooling of the steel production molds has already begun, and the factory is ready to produce the figures. This pre-order campaign helps Skyland to judge how many of each figure to produce and ensures that every Terrarian gets the one that they want most!

Join us for the Terraria Meme Event! This awesome event is in collaboration with our Discord alliance and many communities are participating. Our goal is to have some fun and start working together with other big communities on fun collaboration events. We are always open to suggestions for future Alliance events!

• Only submit game memes. Try to incorporate the theme of our community.
• You must submit an image/GIF.
• It must be your own original work.
• No NSFW submissions.
• You only need to submit your entry in our server.
• Only one entry per person.
• Submissions period ends August 27th at 12PM PDT.

After we receive all submissions we will then add them to a Google form and open voting to all participating Alliance servers. Voting will also last for a week and end September 3rd at 12PM PDT.

[discord.gg] We are excited to announce that we are expanding the TCT to help many Discord communities and it will be referred to as “The Community Team” going forward. The TCT will still function in the same capacity within the Terraria community, but now all partnered and verified servers will be allowed to apply to join the TCT as an Affiliated community.

Affiliated communities are required to promote the TCT to their servers as their community management recruitment and training platform. Our goal is to provide a platform where anyone can learn how to help communities and what opportunities are available.

TCT will launch with the following Teams:

1) Art Team: Create art, emotes, memes, stickers, and gifs for communities that can be used for sharing, banners, social media, and events.
2) Development Team: Create and manage Discord bots and other development projects.
3) Event Team: Create and manage community events, create custom builds for sandbox games that can be used for parkour, pvp, and other community functions, suggest community events, and receive notification whenever there is an Affiliated community event.
4) Localization Team: Translate community content into multiple languages and help manage non-English social communities.
5) Moderator Team: Discuss community moderation, share moderation strategies, assist Affiliated communities with their server moderation.
6) Partnership Team: Recruit new Affiliated communities to join the TCT and evaluate communities looking to join the TCT.
7) Quality Assurance Team: Receive notification whenever their is a new game Beta application, report game bugs, and make game suggestions to community officials.
8) Stream & Video Team: Make video content for communities or stream for communities.
9) Trivia Team: Help make and review general Trivia questions that are used by communities in activities.
10) Writing Team: Create editorials for servers to share with their communities and the media.

Registration is now open for partnered and verified servers to join the TCT as an Affiliated community! You must be at least a moderator or admin for a server to apply to have the server join the TCT as an Affiliated community. To apply to become an Affiliated community please message @TCT Mod Mail and include the perma server link, your role in the server, and a brief explanation why you would like the server to join the TCT as an Affiliated community. There will be an interview process for partnered and verified servers to become an Affiliated community.
