Что такое Notify party
Основная роль и обязательства Notify party, или уведомляемой стороны, заключаются в получении уведомления о прибытии груза, указанного в морском коносаменте. Уведомляемой стороной является физическое или юридическое лицо, которое необходимо уведомить о прибытии груза в порт назначения.
В коносаменте может быть указано один или несколько Notify party, при этом их обязательства в целом идентичны. Однако каждый из них может быть указан в транспортном документе по разным причинам.

В данном примере бенефициар по аккредитиву (обычно он же получатель груза) может попросить морскую линию указать в коносаменте как себя, так и таможенного брокера, чтобы каждый из них своевременно получил информацию о прибытии груза и успел подготовить документацию, финансовые средства для получения товара.
Еще один пример:
В данном случае получатель выразил желание указать в качестве Нотифай своего экспедитора в порту, чтобы тот мог вовремя подготовить телекс релиз для выдачи груза, а торговый представитель убедиться в том, что груз был доставлен и, таким образом, сделка закрыта.
Что касается ограничений в различных странах, то поскольку Notify party не имеет никаких юридических обязательств и не является стороной договора перевозки по коносаменту для таможенных органов, порта и других инстанций, в подавляющем числе случаев не существует каких-то особых ограничений по указанию нескольких нотифай в одном коносаменте. Тем не менее, в порядке исключения в отдельных странах такие ограничения могут иметь место, хотя на практике такое встречается крайне редко.
